HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Eduardo L. Joson Memorial College came into being on January 24, 2005 by the virtue of Nueva Ecija Provincial Board Resolution No. 34-5-2005. This school aimed at providing free high quality tertiary education to the financially less privilege but exceptionally talented Novo Ecijano youths.
Eduardo L. Joson Memorial College was established in honor of the great patriarch Eduardo L. Joson who served as governor of Nueva Ecija for than 30 years since 1960. His deals and commitment to the youth and to the development of he entire province have inspired the continuing program on human resource development; thus the birth of this pioneering institution geared towards excellence, leadership, and justice. All these are envisioned to lead to the overall progress and honor of the province.
As a community college, ELJMC offers a full scholarship to the poor but deserving students and help them to achieve their goals. This school was located at Barangay Singalat, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
